Fulham winger Alexander Kacaniklic has admitted the Cottagers could require as many as five wins from their final seven matches if they are to keep their top-flight status.

Felix Magath's men sit bottom of the table after 31 games, four points adrift of West Brom and Crystal Palace, who lie just above the relegation zone.

Fulham face relegation rivals Norwich City and Palace in two of their remaining games in addition to facing a stern challenge against Champions League chasing Everton at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

But the young Swede remains optimistic and is "really looking forward" to the chance to save his side.

Kacaniklic told The Fulham Chronicle: "Everton coming up is a home game that we need to win. I'm really looking forward to the game.

"You need to win your home games and, if you get something from your away games, then that's good as well.

"We probably need four or five wins."

The 22-year-old who has scored once this season has gone on to establish himself at Craven Cottage, making 13 starts for the club.
