Police are hunting a “dangerous” man who is believed to be hiding out in west London.

Jake Muir, 27, from Feltham is wanted by police having been recalled to prison after missing several probation meetings.

He is also wanted for alleged possession of an offensive weapon and theft of a motor vehicle.

The Met police on Thursday issued a photo of Muir as they urged anyone who sees him to get in touch.

“Muir is dangerous and should not be approached,” the force warned, adding he is believed to be hiding in the Feltham and Hanworth areas.

Muir is about 6ft 3ins and has a distinctive tattoo on his right arm, which says ‘Freedom’.

He has black hair and a bushy beard. Police said: “He is believed to be more dishevelled than he appears in the photo with longer hair and an unkempt beard.”

If you have any information that could help you can contact police by calling 101 and quoting CRIS 0502421/24. For an immediate sighting dial 999.

If you would prefer to stay anonymous you can contact the police via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
