Billie Eilish has revealed the smouldering new video for her James Bond theme No Time To Die.

The clip features her crooning into a microphone, backed with footage of Daniel Craig and Lea Seydoux in the new film, as well as high-octane action sequences and classic Bond iconography.

The song will feature in the opening sequences of the forthcoming 26th James Bond film, which is due for release on November 12 in the UK.

The clip was unveiled at 5pm on the singer’s YouTube channel. Watch it below.

The Standard’s music critic David Smyth previously said in his review that hiring Eilish was a “smart move from the filmmakers… Eilish is the hottest singer right now.”

Talking about the track, he added: “The sound is dominated by luxurious washes of strings from composer Hans Zimmer. Eilish’s sad, understated vocals suit the sound, which is less overblown than usual.”

Eilish, still just 18, became one of the biggest pop stars on the planet following the release of her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? in 2019, featuring tracks like Bad Guy, Bury a Friend and When the Party’s Over.

She follows in the footsteps of Adele, Madonna, Shirley Bassey and others in recording a song for the long-running franchise.
