New Tottenham stadium: Behind-the-scenes footage reveals hospitality and media areas at £1bn home

New behind-the-scenes footage from inside Tottenham's new stadium has revealed a first look at the hospitality and media areas.

The club are still to announce when they will officially move into their new home but Standard Sport understands the club are hoping to take a significant step towards opening the new stadium by holding test events on March 16 and 23.

Saturday's 1-1 draw with north London rivals Arsenal is Tottenham's last home game until Brighton visit on April 7, giving the club over a month to prepare their new £1 billion home.

The Premier League are understood to want Tottenham to play at least five home games this season or push a move-in date until next season, the exact number left in the 2018-19 schedule.

Tottenham fans will be buoyed with the latest footage from inside the ground, which shows working television screens before heading inside into what appears to be a hospitality box.

A plush blue sofa is visible with two coffee tables, chairs and champagne coolers standing nearby.

Heading further inside, two 10-seater tables have been prepared complete with cutlery, plates, glasses and napkins all in place.

Positioned between tables and pitch, is a bar with seating for three more guests and a big-screen television.

A move-in date appears to be edging ever closer.
